How do I submit a video?
To be able to submit a video, you must be a registered user and logged in to your account
After you have created an account and logged in, a small "my videos" link appears at the top of every page. Clicking on this link will bring you to your videos page. To begin the process of uploading a video, click on the link at the bottom of that page that says "Click here to create a new video!"
When you are adding a new video, you will be prompted for a title, content rating, video dimensions, description and credits. If you have not yet submitted a video, you will also be required to agree to our video submission policy.
What are the requirements for submitted videos?
Videos submitted to Furry Play must be furry in nature. This means that the video should include or be about anthropomorphic animals in some way or another. This includes animations, fursuits, furry conferences, etc.
We currently support AVI, MPEG, MPG, WMV, MOV and SWF files. All files are available for download by the users, as well as visible on the website. The embedded videos are displayed at their native resolution, up to a maximum of 720x560. A video that is larger in resolution may still be posted, but it will be reduced to match this maximum. The videos may be up to 100MB in size.
All videos must be approved before they appear online. This means that videos submitted are not immediately available for download. This process is to guarantee that the submitted content is both on topic, as well as properly rated.
The content rating is very important for the video. It governs not only the content of the video, but also the language used for the title, description and credits. A video that is rated 'G' should not have sexual text in it, for example. By the same token, anything below 'PG-14' should not contain swear words in it.
